The Story of a Soprano Who Admires Maria Callas
"I am destined to sing, and there’s no escaping it. Destiny is destiny."
◆ SYNOPSIS
Soprano Heekyung Jung, an artist devoted to her craft, takes the stage to perform some of the most iconic works from Maria Callas’ repertoire—from Tosca to Lucia di Lammermoor. Backstage, her makeup complete, she pauses in quiet reflection, tracing the journey that led her to this moment.
Through intimate storytelling, she revisits the pivotal experiences that shaped her artistry—the first time she sang, the emotions that stirred within her, and the transformative years she spent studying abroad. As memories intertwine with music, she forges a profound connection with her audience, offering a rare glimpse into the heart and soul of a vocalist who has fully embraced her destiny.
